Somewhere along the way, it was determined that our anniversary month is November. It was also determined that our first meeting was in 2003. I wasn't there, others were. A tradition began and for the most part, we've met every month for 20 years.12 of us defended on British Tony's house. The whiskey of the night was a nice rye. Flavor was quite good with the spicy finish you'd expect from a rye. My personal preference might be to add a little water to break it up a little. To each their own.
For the record of it, here's the photos of the whiskey brought as tribute to the meeting. We had to pick one. Because it said rye on the label, it was chosen to enter the Hunger Games.
There came a time when it was suggested we take a selfie. Your mileage may vary.
There was a need for more nostalgia nearing the end of the evening. One more picture was requested. Some had left. Bottles and cans were emptied. All in all, it was another blast of a night. Cheers to you all. 20 more for the fun of it?
